In 2013 the Vermont Chamber of Commerce will honor an outstanding Vermonter as the 50th recipient of its annual Citizen of the Year award. If you wish to nominate an individual who meets or exceeds the following criteria, please click here for the nomination form and a list of previous honorees. The deadline for nominations is July 26, 2013.
The Citizen of the Year award is presented to the individual who:
1) Has made major contributions to the betterment of Vermont;
2) Has been distinguished through outstanding service to his/her community and region; and
3) In the judgment of the Special Selections Committee typifies the true spirit of service and self-sacrifice in representing the finest ideals of Vermont Citizenship.
