Office of Professional Regulation moves to downtown Montpelier

Secretary of State Jim Condos is pleased to announce the relocation of the Office of Professional Regulation (OPR) to 89 Main Street in Montpelier. OPR will be located on the 3rd Floor of the City Center Building in downtown Montpelier, along with the Department of Financial Regulation, and the Green Mountain Care Board.
‘It has been a long time coming ‘I am glad that OPR has a new home. The new space allows our entire team to be in one location, which is ideal for collaboration and efficiency.’Stated Chris Winters, OPR’s Director.
Secretary of State Jim Condos added that: ‘One of our requirements for the new location was bringing OPR physically closer to our main office; the new location accomplishes this.’
OPR is a division within the Secretary of State’s Office that is responsible for licensure, certification, registration and disciplinary matters for 45 professions/occupations with over 60,000 licensees within the state of Vermont. The mission of OPR is public protection.
OPR will open in their new location Monday, July 1st. The office will be closed Friday, June 28th to accommodate the move.
