LEDC Elects New Board Members

The Lamoille Economic Development Corporation has elected two new members to its Board: Laurie Hammond, the Controller/IT Manager of Turtle Fur Company in Morrisville and Adam Lory, an Agent for Poulos Insurance, Inc. also in Morrisville.
Hammond is originally from Connecticut but moved to Vermont in 1974. She and her husband, Greg, live in Johnson, VT on property where three generations have operated businesses. Earlier in her career she worked in the insurance industry but has been employed at Turtle Fur for 20 years where she also serves on the Management Team and is the Company Secretary.
Lory graduated from Johnson State College magna cum laude with two bachelor degrees and operated A.A. Lory Painting, LLC for eight years before joining Poulos over a year ago. In addition to his new role on the LEDC Board, Lory also serves on the Boards of the Lamoille County Planning Commission, the Lamoille Region Chamber of Commerce and the Lamoille Habitat for Humanity. Lory and his family live in Hyde Park, VT.
