The Public Service Department has released the 2013 edition of Utility Facts - an inclusive summary of key Vermont statistics representing overall energy supply and uses, as well as the performance of the state’ s regulated utilities.
Last updated in 2011, Utility Facts 2013 incorporates several changes and improvements. In addition to sections devoted to electricity, natural gas, telecommunications, and water, new sections on total energy use and consumption, electric and thermal efficiency, and regulated utility sector profiles have been added.
Utility Facts 2013 provides energy and regulated industry data with regional and national comparisons in a user-friendly format. The data is presented in both graphical and statistical format. A glossary is also provided. Utility Facts has been referred to as an ‘ invaluable resource’ in electric supply planning, comprehensive energy planning, and in the development of local energy plans.
