Maple Landmark Woodcraft, creator of award-winning childrens wooden toys and games has been hand picked to create a toy Presidential Limousine to celebrate the 2nd Inauguration of President Obama. Four years ago, Maple Landmark Woodcraft was chosen to create a toy train engine.
Each limousine is crafted from native Vermont hardwood maple and is printed black with gold lettering saying 57th Presidential Inauguration, January 21, 2013 on both sides. The limo measures about 2 tall and 6 long. The commemorative limousine is not just a souvenir but also a toy with easy rolling wheels, durable finish and tested for children 2 and up.
We are honored to be asked, for a second time, to create something special for the Inauguration, comments Mike Rainville, owner of Maple Landmark. Rainville goes on to say that we were approached because of our dedication to keeping our products made right here in the USA. The presidential limo is sold exclusively through the 57th Inauguration Store at https://store.2013pic.org
Maple Landmark was founded in 1979 by Mike Rainville, in Lincoln, Vermont. Although the product mix has changed over the years, Rainvilles business trident - commitment to high quality heirloom toys and educational products; sound business practices, using sustainable materials, frugal approach to operations and manufacturing practices; and manufacturing in the USA remains the same.
