The Vermont Clean Energy Development Fund (CEDF) released a new five-year strategic plan today. The plan sets a new course for the CEDF with a greater focus on: building Vermonts clean energy financing sector, supporting the States total renewable energy goal of 90%, and on strengthening the state-wide collaboration toward that goal.
Public Service Department Commissioner Christopher Recchia thanked the Clean Energy Development Board for their work and support on the new plan and said the plan provides a clear vision for action that will help increase cost effective clean energy generation and economic development in Vermont while lowering the environmental impact of our energy use.
CEDF Fund Manager Andrew Perchlik stated this new plan will not only guide CEDF funding decisions but will also direct an evaluation strategy to ensure CEDF funds are being deployed efficiency and effectively.
