Golden Eagle Resort making a difference this holiday season

Vermont Business Magazine The Golden Eagle Resort in Stowe, VT ismaking its impact on the community with a donation of furniture which wasoriginally planned to be discarded following an extensive redecoration. Thefurniture, which includes credenzas, pictures, lighting, mirrors and nightstands, was donated to the Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity for sale inits ReStore. In making the announcement The Golden Eagle Resort’s General ManagerAndrew Cournoyer said, “We are pleased to make this donation to anorganization that has made such a positive impact in our community, and weknow the furniture will be put to good use.”

The Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity ReStore sells donated new andgently used furniture, appliances, housewares and building supplies to thepublic and the net proceeds go towards building energy-efficient andaffordable homes for low-income families in northwestern Vermont.

David Mullin, Executive Director of Green Mountain Habitat for Humanitysaid, “We greatly appreciate the donation of rooms of furniture by theGolden Eagle Resort in Stowe. The sale of the furniture will help us to buildhomes for the low-income families who desperately need safe and affordablehomes.”
