Vermont Cannabis Collaborative to release #CannabisConversations report Nov 18

Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont Cannabis Collaborative (VTCC) will release its anticipatedlegislative report to the Vermont public and state legislature onWednesday,November 18 at 10 amin the Great Room at Main Street Landing (3rd floor) –60 Lake Street, Burlington, Vermont 05401.The report is entitled WHAT CANNABIS CAN DO FOR VERMONT: How to grow a thriving,community-based, legal cannabis economy in the Green Mountain State.

“This report is the result of a years' worth of collaboration and conversationabout how legal, regulated cannabis can ignite economic growth and create jobsin Vermont,” explains Bill Lofy, the report’s chief author. “We see Vermont asthe national center of cannabis excellence, with a market open to any Vermonterwho wants to participate, and where craft growers and entrepreneurs create aneconomy that reflects Vermont values,” notes VTCC steering committee JudyMacIsaac Robertson.

“Our VTCC report effectively lays out a statewide, collaborative and strategicapproach to develop a legalized and regulated Vermont cannabis industry,”explains VTCC steering committee member Rob Williams. “We see cannabislegalization as an exciting economic development opportunity for Vermont, and weurge any Vermonter interested in this issue to read and share our reportwidely.”
