SolarCity to go one-day hiring spree Wednesday

Vermont Business Magazine SolarCity (NASDAQ: SCTY), the nation's #1 solar provider, will host an all-day hiring event onWednesday, October 21, with the aim of adding 500 employees to its sales force across 10 states, including Vermont. SolarCity, which provides more than one out of every three new solar power systems in the US, provides local solar sales, installation and service from more than 80 facilities. The company employs more than 14,000 in the USand had been adding more than 500 new employees per month in 2015, on average. The new hires will help it meet growing demand for solar in the Northeast, the Mid-Atlantic and California--among the fastest growing solar markets in the country.
