Mount Snow to celebrate last day of 60th season with special lift ticket deal

As one final tribute to its 60th anniversary season, Mount Snow Resort is offering an advance purchase lift ticket deal to come celebrate the final day of winter operations on April 19. Paying homage to the year the resort first opened, skiers and riders can hop online and pay just $19.54 for a lift ticket to enjoy some turns before lifts stop spinning for the season.

Frequent natural snowfall throughout the winter added up to a season total of 193”, which is the most amount of snow recorded at the mountain since the 2000/2001 season. February was the star of the winter with a record-breaking 76” of snow making its way to the ground in just a 21-day span (Feb. 2 – 22).

“It’s been an amazing winter during which we enjoyed arguably the best snow conditions in the country,” said Mount Snow’s Marketing Manager, Dave Meeker. “We want as many members of the Mount Snow family to come help us celebrate the last day, so hopefully they take full advantage of the sweet ticket deal.”

The $19.54 lift tickets to ski/ride on Sunday, April 19 are only available when purchased in advance online by 11:59 p.m., Friday, April 17. The price is for all ages and will not be available at the ticket window.

Mount Snow recently announced its end of season operating schedule which includes staying open through Monday, April 13 thanks to a forecast that’s calling for sunshine and temps in the 60’s. The mountain will then suspend operations Tuesday, April 14 – Thursday, April 16 before reopening for one final weekend Friday, April 17 – Sunday, April 19.

Officials anticipate offering three mountain faces of skiable terrain through closing day thanks to the deep snowpack.
