The Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce has announced that Rutland has a new “Front Door to the Region”, RutlandVermont.com. The Chamber’s website has been completely re-designed by Green Mountain Marketing & Advertising. This leading edge website has integrated new features including a responsive web design that formats to fit most internet ready devices. The new website has integrated social media plug- ins and is fully optimized for maximum search engine performance to give businesses exposure on Google, Yahoo and Bing.
The site offers Chamber member businesses better visibility and the public an easier way to find the services they need. The new secure design offers the ability to pay for memberships, RSVP for events and other opportunities. There is also a new Destination Wedding Services page. The popular Regional Calendar of Events is now searchable and gives members and the public alike the ability to post their own events to the calendar including a picture or logo and even includes a google map to the venue. Other important sections of interest include Discover the Region, Community Resources and even local weather and the Killington Ski Report.
“The Chamber is back on the leading edge of website technology. The new website is your starting point for everything Rutland”, said Tom Donahue, Chamber CEO
“Green Mountain Marketing & Advertising was honored to be chosen as the company to lead the Rutland Region Chamber through a redesign and re-launch of their website. We drew upon our background in management information systems, information architecture, usability and search engine optimization to build a presence that fits the community’s needs, while also providing Chamber members real business value through multiple promotional opportunities in addition to listings on the site. The site is scalable and flexible and can grow to accommodate various business categories. The site’s administration features will help the Chamber staff streamline their day-to-day operations too. Most of all, we’re delighted that the site is already getting increased search engine exposure in Google, Bing and Yahoo and we expect traffic to build significantly over the coming months.”- Kasia Karazim, Green Mountain Marketing & Advertising.
“We believe this site will take the Chamber into the next several years with a very user-friendly design, which is what visitors not only expect, but they demand from today’s websites.” – Bill Ackerman, Green Mountain Marketing & Advertising
