2016 Food From The Heart drive collects 1308 pounds

Vermont Business Magazine The 2016 Franklin County Food from the Heart Drive was conducted by New England Federal Credit Union in conjunction with other community partners and the St. Albans Messenger. The drive, which included 12 drop-off locations, ran from September 12th – 30th.. A total of 1308 pounds of food was collected, enough to feed a family of four for more than two months. In addition, on October 4th, NEFCU Marketing Specialist Sarah Ricker and Marketing Coordinator Alex Kent presented a $500 check to Northwest Family Foods (NFF) Coordinator Walt Gaskill at the NFF location on Lemnah Drive in St. Albans.

According to Cindy Morgan, NEFCU Senior Marketing Executive, “It is heartwarming to see how generously Vermonters in our region contribute to help their neighbors in need. NEFCU is proud to help support this very worthwhile effort.”
