Vermont Business Magazine Vermont Secretary of State Jim Condos has announced Vermont's Elections Division has been ranked as the nation's most accessible. This is the second year in a row Vermont has been ranked #1 in the State Election Agency Report produced by Ballotpedia, a nonpartisan online encyclopedia of American politics and elections. The annual report measures state election agencies in terms of their ease of access, quality of information, and response speed. Vermont topped the list and was awarded a total of 49 out of 50 possible points, the highest of any state.

"I am very proud to see that our Vermont Elections Division ranked so favorably. It is a direct result of all the effort our team has put into ensuring election information is accessible to all Vermonters," states Secretary Condos. "Our office will continue working hard to ensure we are available and responsive to the public we serve. This includes quick response times to emails and phone calls, maintaining convenient websites for the public, and ensuring transparency in all we do."
Vermont's Secretary of State's Office maintains a multitude of programs which ensure their office is accessible to the public including online voter registration, effective campaign finance and lobbying disclosure reporting sites, and the recently released "My Voter Page" which makes it easy for Vermonters to find election information specific to them by providing sample ballots, absentee request forms, polling locations, and more all in one convenient website.
