The festivities start on Friday with an employee family celebration, followed by an open community celebration on Saturday from 11am-3pm. Fans of Vermont Teddy Bear will be able to enjoy a wide range of free, fun activities including brownie-ice cream sundaes courtesy of Vermont Brownie Company, entertainment from Big Blue Trunk, factory tours, musical entertainment with Raphael Groten (from 12pm-12:45pm) and much more. A keepsake, Limited Edition Bear has been created just for the occasion and is on sale now.
“Vermont Teddy Bear was started from a simple idea: to create quality, handmade Bears right here in Vermont,” says Shouldice. “Our 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Bear not only encompasses this simple and important idea, but he also represents Vermont in a very special way: by honoring the centuries-old tradition of maple sugaring.”
