400 families will receive holiday meals, thanks to the generosity of Hannaford Supermarkets

Vermont Business MagazineThe Vermont Foodbank is hosting the Pack to Give Back event in Barre with support from Hannaford Supermarkets. Along with volunteers, the Vermont Foodbank will pack 400 holiday food boxes and distribute them to families in Washington County.

"Noone should have to worry aboutwhether they will have the nutritious food they need – especially during the holiday season," said Samara Bushey, who is Hannaford's Director of Operations in Vermont. "Hannaford is thrilled to partner with theVermont Foodbank to help hundreds of local families celebrate traditions surrounding special meals."

WHAT: Holiday meal distribution, vouchers have already been distributed. WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANYONE WITHOUT A VOUCHER.

WHO: 400 families will receive a holiday meal box. Volunteers and Foodbank staff will be on hand to help families get the food they need, just in time for the holidays.
