Vermont Business Magazine A Winooski Tech Crawl event will highlight the tech businesses that have made their home in the historic Mill buildings in the greater Winooski area, representing textiles to tech transformation, on Tuesday October 17, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm, with a reception following. This free event is presented by theVermont Technology Alliance as part of Innovation Week, a celebration of the entrepreneurial and technology ecosystem in the greater Burlington area.
At this walking tour and networking event, guided tours will offer an opportunity to visit and learn about the tech-focused businesses in and around three mill buildings – Champlain Mill, Chase Mill and at 110 West Canal street – and learn a little of the mills’ history too. Participants can discover some of the tech-focused businesses and available jobs that are revitalizing the historic mill buildings and creating a growing tech community in the greater Winooski area, and then gather afterward for some food and drink following, hosted by Aerie Consulting.
Participating businesses are: Aerie Consulting, Heritage Winooski Mill Museum, Inntopia, Marathon Health, MyWebGrocer, Open Approach, PedsOne, Physician’s Computer Company, and Reading Plus.
