Vermont Business Magaine Goodwill is moving down the street. After a decade in a beautiful wood building, the thrift store will move to 64 Harvest Lane. A grand opening celebration is scheduled for
Saturday, Sept 9 at the former Buttered Noodles space.
The expansion will add six new jobs and double the size of the sales floor. This will give customers more space to shop, more dressing rooms, easier ways to donate and much more parking. The store will add a relaxing sitting area where people can listen to vinyl records that are for sale.
“Customers loved our old Williston location, but it had some limitations,” said Kossi Gamedah, the senior vice president of retail. “We’re excited about this new space and giving Williston shoppers another grand opening, of sorts.”
Goodwill’s new store will add more than 6,000 new items on Saturday, Sept 9.
“A Goodwill store’s grand opening – or in this case, grand re-location, is really something to see,” Gamedah said. “We make a big event out of it, all week, with raffle giveaways and by freshly stocking the shelves every hour.”
