Vermont Business Magazine ANEW Place is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors has appointed Kevin Pounds as Executive Director. Pounds replaces Valerie Brosseau at the helm of ANEW Place, a community-based nonprofit with a mission to “provide a holistic continuum of services for the homeless, centered in love and dignity, that foster growth, cultivate community engagement, and provide tools for lifelong change so that each person may startANEW.”
Kevin has been a friend and supporter of ANEW Place over the last six years, working in various capacities to further the organization’s mission in the community. Kevin has served in church leadership and pastor roles for the past 25 years and has founded and led two nonprofit organizations. He is a visionary and servant leader, who loves equipping leaders and serving those on the fringes. He is passionate about the mission and vision of ANEW Place to offer an opportunity for those struggling with homelessness to find hope, transformation, and belonging.

ANEW Place invites the community to a special evening to honor Valerie as outgoing Executive Director and welcome Kevin Pounds. Hosted at New Moon Café on Wednesday, May 24that 6:00 PM, the event will have light hors d’oeuvres, live music, and an opportunity to network with community members.
