$5,000 reward offered in gas station, firearms burglary

Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont State Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives continue to investigate the May 4, 2017, pre-dawn burglary of the Shell station and firearms dealership located at 705 Rockingham Road in Rockingham. Numerous firearms and a large quantity of ammunition were stolen in the burglary. VSP and ATF are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to arrest and conviction for this crime.

Twenty firearms - a mix of long guns and handguns - as well as a substantial amount of cash, was stolen from the firearms dealership. The total loss is estimated to be approximately $15,000- $16,000.

The firearms were well documented and are traceable, according to the VSP.

An ATM in the gas station was robbed of several thousand dollars. The gas station itself sustained a loss of over a thousand dollars between stolen cash and property, and damaged property.
