Vermont Business Magazine Ledyard National Bank was awarded first place on March 9th in the Public Relations category at the New England Financial Marketing Awards for their campaign and contest celebrating their 25th Anniversary in 2016. Ledyard celebrated their anniversary by involving the community in honoring five local non-profit organizations. The contest asked each organization to create a 2 minute video that incorporated Ledyard’s tagline, ”Plan well. Live well” and how that tagline fit into their charitable initiatives. Each video was posted on Ledyard’s Facebook page and was voted on by the community for a four week period awarding over $20,000 to the winners.
The five non-profits as chosen by the Ledyard employees to participate in the contest were The Good Neighbor Health Clinics, The Haven, Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice, WISE of the Upper Valley, and The Family Place who took home the $10,000 grand prize.
