Vermont Business Magazine Threshold 360 has announced that Vermont’s long-serving Deputy Commissioner of Tourism and Marketing, Steven Cook, will join their team as Director of Marketing. Cook will serve as a resource for domestic and international tourism destinations as they apply Threshold 360’s immersive experiences within their cities, towns, and communities.
“It has been an honor to serve the State of Vermont’s tourism industry and I am very excited to be a part of the Threshold 360 team,” said Cook. “The technology they created is something that has been missing in the destination tourism space. Threshold 360 is breaking new ground and is enhancing the travel planning experience for everyone.”

Since then, he has been directly responsible for all aspects of advertising and communication plans for Vermont’s $2.7 billion-dollar tourism industry. Cook spent over a decade in this role where he was appointed by three gubernatorial administrations.
Cook told VBM that he will have "the best of both worlds" as he'll continue to live in Vermont. Threshold 360 is based in Tampa.
