Vermont Business Magazine Norwich University’s Peace and War Center will host Former US Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Stephen M Young in person and former United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice via webcast in the 12th annual China Town Hall event on Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 6-8 p.m. in the Mack Hall auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.
To help Americans better understand the complex U.S.-China relationship and the growing role of Chinese investment, the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations(NCUSCR) is conducting the 12th annual CHINA Town Hall: Local Connections, National Reflections at 100+ venues across the United States and Greater China. The event features Condoleezza Rice,former secretary of state and national security advisor,as the national webcast speaker.The webcastwill take place from 6:00-6:45 p.m. EDTand will be followed by presentations from local speakers at each of the venues. At Norwich University, Ambassador Young will present from 6:50-7:30 p.m. followed by a Q&A.
