Smugglers’ Notch receives top honor from SKI Magazine readers

Vermont Business Magazine The 2019 SKI Magazine Readers Survey has awarded highest honors to Smugglers’ Notch Vermont, declaring the Resort “Best in the East.” The debut award takes a “whole package” approach toward determining the best resort in the East, citing Smugglers’ as a unique standout based on their combination of family-friendly offerings on and off slope, as well as some of the most challenging terrain in the East.

Smugglers’ owner and managing director, Bill Stritzler said: "The efforts put forth by Smugglers’ staff are terrific. The members of our team are committed to providing a level of service which exceeds the expectations of our guests, constantly working to improve upon our current offerings, and developing new and exciting programs to provide many options for the diverse range of families we serve."

Smugglers’ receives this award after a long history of honors. The Resort’s reputation for excellent family vacation experiences comes supported by four years of #1 Kid Friendly awards, ten years of being #1 for Family Programs, #1 for Service in 2014 and 2018, #1 Overall in 2014 and 2018.

Smugglers’ continues to uphold its decades-long commitment to family offerings. The Resort’s ski and ride school has a long-standing history as an industry-wide leader in children’s programming. Now celebrating its 62nd year in operation, Smugglers’ offers programs and activities for all ages throughout four seasons around their mountainside Resort village. Hosting a wide range of activities including skiing and snowboarding, educational activities, pools and waterslides, mountain biking, zip lining, and more, the independently-owned Resort appeals to local and vacation markets alike.
