Vermont PBS tapped for five New England Emmy nominations

Vermont Business MagazineVermont PBS has announced it has been nominated for five New England Emmy Awards, the most nominated broadcast station in Vermont this year. The New England Emmys are awarded for excellence in original video content.

Vermont PBS nominations include:

Saving Our Waters, Vermont PBS’ three-part documentary on the health and vibrancy of the Lake Champlain basin, was nominated in the Environmental category.www.vermontpbs.org/water/

In the Informational/Instructional category, the popular series The Local Motive, which explores the local food system in Vermont, was nominated.video.vermontpbs.org/show/local-motive/

Cité Mémoire is nominated in the Interstitial category. It takes the viewer on a city-wide tour of some of the beautiful art installations that were created in honor of Montréal’s 375th anniversary.www.vermontpbs.org/mtl375/

Mister Chris and Friends is Vermont PBS’ live action children’s show pilot focused on children’s social and emotional development and well-being. It is nominated for both Graphic Arts/Set Design and Musical Composition/Arrangement.www.vermontpbs.org/misterchris/
