Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont Department of Labor’s Brattleboro Career Resource Center is relocating to the Marlboro College Graduate Center Building at 28 Vernon Street, Brattleboro. The new center will be open for business onMonday, April 2, 2018. This new location will provide an expanded resource center, additional computer terminals, and greater accessibility to a wide variety of resources to assist job seekers with reaching their training and career goals. The space will also provide a greater resource for area businesses to host hiring events and receive additional support services from the Vermont Department of Labor. The office’s current location, 232 Main Street, Room #132, will be closed on March 29thand March 30thwhile the new center is being assembled.
“As Brattleboro’s labor market has grown, we recognize the need for additional resources to support our area businesses and job seekers. A more robust Career Resource Center to support Windham county will help attain this goal,” said Lindsay Kurrle, Commissioner of Labor. “With expanded space we will be able to offer tailored services, host job events, and engage with more Vermonters in the Brattleboro area.”
The Vermont Department of Labor provides Career Resource Centers in every county in Vermont. Vermont’s Career Resource Centers are open for all Vermonters looking for work, or who are interested in resources to help begin or advance their careers. All services are free of charge, including job search support, resume writing assistance, and career planning.
