Vermont Business Magazine Saturday morning, Killington Resort fired up its snow guns to being snowmaking in preparation for the start of ski season and the 2022 Women’s World Cup races taking place Thanksgiving weekend.

Killington Resort will again welcome the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Tour back to Killington, Vermont, on Thanksgiving Weekend.

The first years of the event broke attendance records and sent a message loud and clear: alpine ski racing is alive and well in the East! The action returns in 2022 with a stacked field of the best female alpine skiers in the world, including five-time Killington Cup victor Mikaela Shiffrin skiing to defend her title, former University of Vermont skier Paula Moltzan and Burke Mountain graduate and Dartmouth student Nina O’Brien.

We will also see the revival of the athlete bib presentation and fireworks display on Friday night, and the all-new K-1 Lodge for fans to enjoy.
