Vermont Business Magazine Jason Collins, a retired American player in the National Basketball Association (NBA), will deliver the Middlebury College Commencement address to the Class of 2020 on Tuesday, May 31. Collins was the first male active player in any of the four major American professional sports to announce that he was gay.
Note: The class’s in-person Commencement ceremony was delayed until this year due to COVID-19. (Middlebury held graduation for the Class of 2022 on May 29.)

When: Tuesday, May 31, 10 a.m.
Where: Commencement will take place on the lawn in front of the south side of Voter Hall. Voter Hall is near the corner of Route 125 (College St.) and Old Chapel Road on the central quadrangle.
