Vermont Business Magazine In conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Month (May), White River Junction Veterans Affairs (VA) Healthcare System and the New England Ram Club are raising awareness of the mental health resources available for Veterans and civilians by hosting an auto show on May 14.
“Mental health awareness and suicide prevention are among the VA’s top priorities.” said Dr. Brett Rusch, White River Junction VA Healthcare System Executive Director. “This auto show is an chance for family, friends and loved ones to gather in support of shedding light on the opportunities throughout our community for seeking help and possibly providing it. Our community partner, the New England Ram Club’s support has been an asset to us.”
“This event is important because the war within our minds is one everyone fights, no matter what uniform you wear. It’s time we all came together to break the stigma of mental health and that it’s ok to NOT be ok!” said Jeff Harms, President of New England Ram Club
