Vermont Business Magazine Lippa’s Estate and Fine Jewelry of Burlington, VT has crafted a custom, breathtaking diamond engagement ring for Super Bowl champion Taylor Rapp of the L.A Rams. The over 3 carat cushion cut diamond is set in a gorgeous 18 karat yellow gold ring. Lippa’s and Rapp had been working together to find the perfect diamond and create a setting for the custom ring.
Rapp was initially planning to propose on a vacation at the end of the month, but once the Rams made it to the Super Bowl, Rapp decided he wanted to propose “after we win the Super Bowl”.

“I told Taylor I would do my best, but no promises,” Mike Berger, owner of Lippa’s told him. The ring was finished on Friday, then overnighted to Rapp’s neighbor so he could pick it up before Super Bowl Sunday.
“It’s a fantastic story and a true testament to our mission here at Lippa’s. To create a custom ring in under 2 weeks is incredible. It took all hands on deck to make it happen. I’m fortunate to have a great staff and jewelers” said Berger.

While living in San Francisco, Mike was introduced to an up-and-coming NFL agent by a mutual friend. “We met, had dinner, developed a great relationship and the rest is history. He's been referring his clients to us ever since, and I’m very grateful.” Berger has since met other NFL agents, so when Rapp decided to ask his high school sweetheart Dani Johnson to tie the knot, his agent knew exactly who to call.
