Vermont Business Magazine For those struggling with anxiety or depression related to pregnancy, Gifford Health Care is here to help. Every Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., the conference room at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph, hosts the Pregnancy and Post-Partum Support Group.
Led by licensed mental health counselors Erica Schleif and Sarah Roberts, the group learns how to manage those emotions and engage with others going through similar experiences. Each session offers a brief check-in followed by a discussion on the weekly topic.
“We come across women on a daily basis, who don’t know where to go or where to turn to when they get feelings of depression and sadness,” Schleif said. “Our job, our goal, is to make sure these women have the love, care and support they need and a better understanding of why they feel this way and how they can cope with a new mindset.”
If you have questions or would like to enroll, email [email protected], [email protected] or call Sarah Roberts at 728-2372.
