Burlington host named Airbnb's best in Vermont

Vermont Business Magazine Airbnb has announced the #1 most hospitable Host in the entire state of Vermont -- Eva from Burlington, with her listing Vermont River House, Tiny House by Winooski Falls.

Airbnb released a national report highlighting the most hospitable Host in each of the 50 US states. These Hosts have achieved the most 100% 5-star reviews in the categories of Cleanliness, Check-In, and Communication in their respective states -- with a minimum of 100 reviews.

Eva has had over 170 reviews at her tiny house -- without ever once getting less than a 5 star review in these critical hospitality and safety categories. Vermont overall had three Hosts who achieved this 100% standard with a minimum of 100 reviews. Eva earned the #1 designation by virtue of having more reviews than the other two Hosts.

Upon being informed of their achievement, Eva told us she has been hosting since 2018 when she transformed an old shed into her tiny house. She has loved meeting guests from around the world and it has been a highly rewarding experience for her while generating tourism for the community. She even did a quick video about her tiny house makeover that you can watch here.

“For me, being a good host is all about the little details,” Eva said. “All the extras that travelers might be missing like toothbrushes, hairbands and toiletries. I try to hit that fine balance between providing a warm welcome and also giving guests their space. Because our home is attached to our rental, guests know I’m here if they need me.”
