$30 million for Economic Recovery Bridge Program

Agency of Commerce & Community Development The Economic Recovery Bridge Program provides $30 million in funding to businesses who can show a net loss on their 2020 federal tax returns. The program will give priority during the first 30 days to businesses that have yet to receive any state or federal financial support from COVID-19 recovery programs. The application portal will go live the week of June 7th.

ACCD will host a webinar to review guidelines and go over application materials for the Economic Recovery Bridge Program on Wednesday, June 2 at 3 pm. Program guidelines and frequently asked questions are available at the ACCD Recovery Resource Center.

Business Vaccine Clinics

If businesses are interested in creating pop-up clinics for their employees or customers or in having a vaccination booth at an upcoming event, please submit your information through the Vaccine Clinic Registration form. The information you provide through these web forms will help the Health Department assess the resources needed and if a clinic is feasible at your location in the coming weeks. All businesses and event planners are encouraged to fill out the form if they are interested or want more information.

Tourism and Hospitality Clinics

A reminder that there are upcoming vaccine clinics for hospitality and tourism workers. Registration is not required, and all clinics will have the one dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine available. These clinics while targeted to the hospitality and tourism sector are also open to any sector employee or for family and friends of people in this sector.

  • June 3: Woodstock Inn in Woodstock
  • June 7: Paramount Theater in Rutland
  • June 8: Tres Amigos Restaurant in Stowe
  • June 9: Okemo Valley Chamber of Commerce in Ludlow

Vermont Products Marketing Opportunity

The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets (AAFM) is seeking food, beverage or retail business to be a part of the Vermont Building at the Eastern States Exposition, home of the Big-E fair. The dates for this year's event are September 17th through October 3rd. In 2019, 1.6 million people attended the Big E, held in West Springfield, MA making this a great event to showcase Vermont products to the southern New England audience.
