“Ten Best Days of Summer” and Vermont’s largest annual event will open August 27, 2021 and run through September 5, 2021.
Vermont Business Magazine The Champlain Valley Exposition announced today that the Champlain Valley Fair, "the ten best days of summer," is a go! Vermont’s largest annual event returns August 27, 2021 and will run through September 5, 2021, in Essex Junction.
Jeff Bartley, Sales and Marketing Manager, said in a statement:
“The Champlain Valley Fair is a go! We cannot wait to welcome everyone back to the Champlain Valley Exposition on August 27th and run through September 5th. The Champlain Valley Fair will look just like you have grown to love. There will be a vibrant garden center, many animal exhibits, hard and soft good vendors, dozens of rides on the midway, entertainment like Steve Bayner and the Racing Pigs, motorsports in the grandstand, and of course all your favorite fair food.
“The 2021 NorthCountry Federal Credit Union Grandstand will look a little different this year. We will welcome back four motorsports shows: Monster Trucks, Demolition Derby, Figure-8 Racing, and a free-style motocross show. Instead of large-scale concerts, we will be booking tribute bands for evening shows, which will be free to the fairgoer.
“The safety of our fairgoers, volunteers, and staff is paramount. All state, federal, and CDC guidelines will be followed. However, thanks to Governor Phil Scott, Health Commissioner Mark Levine, and the overwhelming number of Vermonters who will be vaccinated, we will be opening our gates with no restrictions. State guidelines state that come mid-summer, masks and social distancing will not be required. However, masks will certainly be welcome.
“The Champlain Valley Exposition is proud of the role we’ve played in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since March of 2020, we have hosted COVID testing, we remain a surge hospital, a site for high school graduations, food distribution points, and by the end of June, nearly 100,000 doses of the vaccine will have been administered.
The Champlain Valley Exposition remains a pillar to the community and cannot wait to turn the page and welcome Vermonters back for the ten best days of summer, the 99th Champlain Valley Fair!”
