Boutique Air makes first flight from BTV to Boston

Vermont Business Magazine Boutique Air’s inaugural flight from Burlington International Airport to Boston Logan International Airport took off today at 1:15 pm.

“We are very excited to offer Boston to the community of Burlington and surrounding areas of Vermont and happy to provide dedicated service to this exciting new destination,” said Brian Kondrad, Vice President of Business Operations for Boutique Air.

Burlington International Airport said in a statement that it is excited about the opportunity to provide direct air passenger service between Burlington and Boston, to meet the needs of both business travel and tourism to Vermonters. The new flight is important to the growth of the local economy with an introduction of new markets and opportunities.

“I am excited to welcome Boutique Airlines to Burlington Airport, and to celebrate this first of many direct flights to and from Boston,” said Miro Weinberger, Mayor of Burlington. “This flight fills a gap that residents and visitors alike have long vocally requested, and is being launched at a great time as we begin to fully reopen from the pandemic."

“This has been a long time coming and we are very fortunate to have this much needed service for business and leisure travelers alike,” said Gene Richards, Director of Aviation. “We are very excited to be able to offer direct daily service to Boston with Boutique Air. ”

Boutique Air is a full codeshare partner with United Airlines and has an interline agreement with American Airlines.
