Gathering restrictions loosened, next vaccination group starts Monday

Gathering Guidance Update

Governor Phil Scott on Friday announced further loosening of gathering restrictions for individuals and households that are fully vaccinated. Vaccinated individuals or households may get together with multiple vaccinated individuals or households, but only one unvaccinated individual or household at a time. Two unvaccinated households should not gather.

PPP and Shuttered Venue Grant Updates

New guidance and developments are fast moving for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG) Program. Businesses with less than 20 employees continue to have exclusive access to PPP until Tuesday, March 9th at 5 pm. Updated FAQs, eligibility requirements, and an application checklist were released for the SVOG program today. Vaccine Update

COVID-19 vaccinations continue to be administered at an encouraging rate. Starting March 8th, people 55 years and older with certain high-risk health conditions can start making appointments. Starting March 15, people 16 years and older with certain high-risk health conditions can start making appointments. Teachers, school staff, and public safety personnel will also be able to book appoints the week of March 8th. Visit the Department of Health's vaccine page for the latest news and updates.

Doing Business with the State of Vermont

VT PTAC and the Office of Purchasing & Contracting (OPC) are partnering a second time this year to present Vermont companies with an in-depth look at how to do business with the State of Vermont on March 10th at 10:30am. This popular webinar will focus on working specifically with OPC, the division of the Department of Buildings and General Services (BGS) that oversees purchasing and contracting for the State of Vermont. This webinar is aimed at Vermont companies interested in selling their goods or services to the State.

Take Vermont's Outdoor Economy Survey

The Vermont Outdoor Business Alliance has launched a survey to capture the current scope of Vermont’s outdoor recreation economy. The survey intends to capture the state of Vermont’s outdoor businesses and organizations by gathering benchmark data, change trends, and needs for future sector support and development in the areas of financing, workforce, infrastructure, and branding. Vermont's Outdoor Recreation Economy Benchmark Survey will be open until March 8th at 5:00pm.
