In this free, hour-long forum, we will look at how three Vermont-based manufacturing leaders have actively and continuously stayed connected to their employees. This includes making significant adjustments to everyday life in their work environments, supporting local eating establishments, giving credit for wellbeing initiatives, donating to local charities and ongoing employee communications, just a few examples of the positive changes embraced in our “new world.”
As we continue our Stay Safe, Stay Strong, Stay Open! forum series, hear from our panel front line company leaders who are ensuring that their employees are taken care of in their work life, thereby bringing less stress home in their personal life.
Panelists include:
  • Karen Murray, HR Manager – VT Packinghouse
  • Michele Asch, Vice President, Leadership & Organizational Development – Twincraft Skincare
  • Maribel Morgan, COO – Omni Medical Systems

For an organization to pursue excellence and control costs, there must be internal capability for effective and sustainable process improvement. VMEC will present a multi-week course this spring where participants can learn the tools, techniques and necessary planning to improve a business process and achieve better outcomes with increased efficiency. This course will enable participants to contribute to process improvement initiatives, while getting a comprehensive understanding of how quality management has and continues to evolve in all business sectors. Also, an added value through participation in this course is preparation to attain the Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) status with the American Society for Quality (ASQ).

If you missed this forum last week, you can watch the 58-minute recording of this learning opportunity here. We thank Shawn Barth, Karl Hayden and Tate Colbert for their time and willingness to educate others about the importance of ventilation in facilities. You may find each of their presentations on the same link.
