The U.S. Small Business Administration, in consultation with the Treasury Department, announced today that the Paycheck Protection Program will re-open the week of January 11th for new borrowers and certain existing PPP borrowers. This round of the PPP continues to prioritize millions of Americans employed by small businesses by authorizing up to $284 billion toward job retention and certain other expenses through March 31, 2021.

Earlier this week ACCD hosted a webinar for Vermont businesses regarding updates to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). Tourism and Hospitality Roundtable
Congressman Peter Welch joins the Vermont Chamber of Commerce for a tourism and hospitality roundtable on Tuesday, January 12th to discuss the recently passed federal COVID-19 relief bill and federal actions impacting Vermont businesses, and to answer to your questions. Business Economic Survey
The Vermont Chamber of Commerce has launched their annual statewide survey of small- to medium-sized businesses. This year COVID-related business questions have been added that will hopefully result in some valuable insights for policymakers. The survey will remain open until Friday, January 29th.
Small Business Owner Resources
A reminder of the resources that are currently available small business owners. The Vermont Everyone Eats program has put together resources for the restaurant community and the Department of Mental Health has put together a business resource page for any business in need of mental health support with tips to stay mentally healthy.
