Vermont Agency of Transportation This weekly report is a list of planned construction activities that will have traffic impacts on state highways throughout Vermont. Please remember to drive safely in all work zones. Lives depend on it.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: One-way alternating traffic regulated by a temporary traffic signal is in effect. Please observe the timing of the signal at all times.

Occasional stoppages of traffic may be required at times to allow trucks and equipment to enter and exit the work zone.

Vermont Business Magazine After 20 years as local host of Morning Edition, Mitch Wertlieb is passing the mic to colleague and All Things Considered co-host Jenn Jarecki. Wertlieb will stay at Vermont Public to host The Frequency, Vermont Public’s daily news podcast, beginning this fall. Wertlieb’s last day on Morning Edition will be Friday, July 28 from 6-9 a.m.

VT RT 14 in the area of Vesper Rd  is CLOSED  due to road flooding.  Detours are in place. 

This incident is expected to last UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  Specific details are not yet available and updates will be provided as appropriate.    

Motorists should expect delays in the area, or seek alternate routes.

VermontBiz Troopers from the Williston Barracks received a report of a road rage incident around the area of I-89 N, Exit 15 in Winooski, VT. The complainant advised that Mark Bennett had brandished a firearm while on the interstate and on the off ramp. Troopers were able to interview all involved parties.
