The Office of Vermont State Auditor Tom Salmon, CPA, has upheld last year s estimate of $57 million in State spending to help about 1,000 individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), at the request of the House Committee on Human Services. The number of students with ASD increased 16.5 percent last year.

MSA (NYSE: MSA) announced today that it has been awarded a two-year $45 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract from the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) to supply U.S. military forces with Advanced Combat Helmets. Governor Jim Douglas has nominated Vermont s 150 miles of the Appalachian Trail to replace the scene of Camel s Hump and sap buckets as part of the U.S. Mint s new America s Beautiful National Parks Quarter Dollar Coin Program.
