Vermont plant part of $10 million contract for General Dynamics to produce MK19 grenade machine guns
General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has been awarded a $10 million contract extension by U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC for the production of MK19 grenade machine guns. Deliveries are expected to begin in April 2010and will be completed in July 2012. This award brings the total contract value to date to over $67 million.
