Vermont State Police Interstate 89 sb between exits 7 and 6 are now re-opened with traffic flowing. Interstate 89, south, in the Montpelier & Berlin area was shut down due to multiple vehicle crashes between exits 7 and 6, in a statement issued by the VSP at 2:36 pm Monday. Traffic is being diverted off the interstate at exit 7.
