Vermont Business Magazine Today Burlington City Arts announced that it is seeking public submissions for a new city flag. Burlington is joining cities across the country in updating its flag to capture the spirit and character of its community. Mayor Miro Weinberger first announced the city flag redesign project at a City Council meeting in January.

Vermont Business Magazine Governor Phil Scott today announced the allocation of $2.7 million in state tax incentives for 22 projects, supporting more than $53 million in downtown and village center construction and rehabilitation efforts. This includes nearly $300,000 for the renovation of two upper-floors in downtown Montpelier’s French Block.
