Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont Agency of Transportation will implement an overnight on-ramp closure at Exit 16 on Interstate 89 southbound. The on-ramp will be closed from 7:00 PM on Friday, June 5, until 6:00 AM on Saturday, June 6.
The purpose of this closure is to support the ongoing Exit 16 Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) project.
Motorists seeking to enter I-89 southbound at Exit 16 will be directed to Exit 15 in Winooski or seek alternative routes.

Sunday evening through Saturday morning from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., U.S. 2/7 between the I-89 SB ramps & Mountain View will have lane closures with traffic shifted for milling, box-cutting, and paving work. Intermittent lane closures with traffic shifts will occur at the intersections of U.S. 2/7 at Hercules & Rathe for signal foundation work. On Thursday night, U.S. 2/7 between South Park & I-89 SB ramps will have lane closures with traffic shifted for paving. Monday morning through Friday afternoon from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., U.S. 2/7 between South Park & the I-89 SB ramps will have lane closures for sidewalk prep. Intermittent lane closures with traffic shifts will occur at the intersections of U.S. 2/7 at Hercules & Rathe for signal conduit installation. Motorists should expect significant delays & rough conditions.
