VermontBiz The Attorney General's Office announced that Christopher Camp, 34, of Moretown, Vermont, formerly of Waterbury, Vermont, was sentenced on Tuesday in Vermont Superior Court, Washington Criminal Division, after pleading guilty to two felony charges of Attempted Luring of a Child and Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material. Mr. Camp also admitted to violating his probation from a 2017 case.
The Court, Judge Michael Harris presiding, sentenced Mr. Camp to three to five years, all suspended except for one year to serve in prison, followed by 10 years of probation. Conditions of Mr. Camp’s probation include that he must complete individual sex offender treatment, must not have contact with children under the age of 16, and restrict his access to electronic devices.
If Mr. Camp violates the conditions of his probation, he faces up to 10 years in prison. Mr. Camp is also required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
