Vermont Business Magazine Lund has announced the return of our annual 'Lund by the Lake' fundraising celebration, set against the beautiful backdrop of Lake Champlain at Hula in Burlington on May 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM. This year, we are thrilled to welcome back Evergreen Roofing as our presenting sponsor, a testament to our shared commitment to building a Vermont where every family has the opportunity to thrive.

Last year's event was a resounding success, raising over $178,000, thanks to the generosity of over 250 attendees, including donors, staff, and client families.
This year's event will place a special focus on adoption. We will celebrate the finalization of 12,000 adoptions, a remarkable milestone in our history. We will also honor Wanda Audette, Lund’s former Director of Adoption with the Kennedy-Byers Award. This award, named for former board members Jeanne Kennedy and Sara Byers, recognizes a leader who exemplifies their devotion, advocacy and selfless service to Lund.
“Behind each of Lund’s 12,000 finalized adoptions is a family whose life has been forever changed,” said Sara Byers. “Honoring Wanda Audette with this award is especially meaningful, as her leadership, advocacy and heart have shaped countless families and lives through her work at Lund.”
