If your town was not invited to close out early, you must submit a 2026 Project and Expenditure Report even if you fully expended your ARPA funds in a prior reporting period.

Open Meeting Law Training is Required Every Year

Certain new and returning municipal officers – chairs of local legislative bodies, town or city managers, and mayors – are required to take the Secretary of State’s recorded training every year.

Ethics Training Is Required for Certain Municipal Officers

Members of legislative and quasi-judicial bodies, chief administrative officers, mayors, and town or city managers are required to complete the State Ethics Commission’s recorded training within 120 days of their election or appointment and to retake the training every three years thereafter.
