Vermont Business Magazine HomeShare Vermont has launched its 2026 Experience Vermont Raffle, featuring Vermont inn stays — 12 in total — plus dining, entertainment and local experiences. Proceeds from the raffle support the nonprofit’s work to expand access to homesharing and support housing stability across Vermont.
For more than 40 years, HomeShare Vermont has helped individuals stay in their homes and find affordable housing through shared living arrangements. In exchange for lower (or sometimes no) rent costs, guests may also provide support, including companionship, meal preparation or help getting to and from appointments.
As Vermont continues to face a housing crisis, homesharing offers a proven, community-based approach that supports aging in place while creating additional housing options for people of all ages and incomes.
Each raffle ticket purchased directly supports HomeShare Vermont’s mission to help more Vermonters access affordable housing through mutually beneficial shared living arrangements.
Raffle winners can experience the best of Vermont through prize packages that include overnight stays at historic inns, local dining experiences and unique outings across the state. Prizes include:
- Two-night stays at Woodstock Inn and Resort, Topnotch Resort in Stowe, Blind Tiger Inn in Burlington, Middlebury Inn, North Hero House and South Shire in Bennington and Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee
- Blind Tiger Inn and Yellow Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast stays, each paired with four tickets to Vermont Comedy Club, plus a Lodge at Millstone Hill stay paired with two tickets to see Ruth Moody at the Barre Opera House
- The Middlebury Inn Package: A stay at the Middlebury Inn and a $100 gift certificate to Fire & Ice Restaurant
- Latchis Hotel and Theatre Package: A stay at the historic Latchis Hotel in Brattleboro, two movie passes and a Vermont Country Store gift certificate
- Burlington Night Out Package: Tickets to a Discover Burlington Jazz Festival performance at the Flynn Theater, a gift certificate to Zero Gravity Craft Brewery and a Seaway Car Wash platinum service gift certificate
- White Birch Lakeside Retreat Package: A stay at White Birch Lakeside Retreat in Newport and a family-of-four pass to the Jay Peak Pump House Indoor Waterpark
