The Most Comfortable Cocktail Party in Town
Vermont Business Magazine Girls on the Run Vermont will host its annual fall benefit, The Sneaker Soirée, on Saturday, October 18th at Burlington Beer Company from 6-10pm. A fundraiser like no other, the Sneaker Soiree will surely be the most comfortable cocktail party in town. Suggested attire is semi-formal and of course… your favorite sneakers! This 18+ event will be held in BBCO’s Lumiere Hall event space.
Check out an incredible Silent Auction packed full of fantastic getaways, lift tickets to VT ski resorts, spa treatments, yoga packages, custom artwork, and tons of additional incredible items and experiences! There will be other FUNdraising activities including a mystery Gift Card Grab from local businesses and a Wish Wall. Join Girls on the Run Vermont for hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and a dessert bar, all while listening to the DJ spin the night away. Take a photo at the Magic Mirror, courtesy of Top Hat Entertainment, complete with custom photo frames and props, and music from DJ Mega Luna.
Also featured will be a few words from our spotlight speaker, an alumni of the program. Every ticket also includes one complimentary drink. For complete information and to buy tickets, visit https://www.gotrvt.org/sneaker-soiree.
This event benefits GOTRVT’s participants registration fees and financial assistance and will raise critical funds to support the program in the 2026 season so that all girls can participate regardless of financial barriers. This benefit would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and in-kind partners: Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Vermont, Casella Waste Systems, Inc., Sprucewood Dental Associates, NBT Bank, and Top Hat Entertainment.
GOTRVT strives to make a lasting impact on the social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of young girls in 3rd-8th grade as they face societal pressures at a particularly vulnerable part of childhood. GOTRVT appreciates the support from the community to ensure the sustainability of their programs across the state.
