WELCOME OF THE 30+ FOOT CHRISTMAS TREE
Friday, November 21 at 11 AM
The Marketplace will proudly welcome the arrival of its 30+ foot Christmas tree, a cherished symbol of the season. This year’s tree comes from the Whitney Family of South Burlington, Vermont. The tree will be delivered directly to Church Street, and its installation marks the beginning of the festive transformation that brings lights, celebration, and holiday spirit to the heart of Burlington.
Thank you to our partners at SavATree, Burlington Police Department, Burlington Water Department, S.D. Ireland, and Demag Riggers & Crane Service for making the tree delivery possible.

It begins at 5:15pm with carols and a performance of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas by Bag O’Chips. Then, at 6pm sharp, Wish-Kid Averil flips the switch on 100,000 lights that will bring the 30+ foot tree to life. Rain, shine, or snow, this holiday extravaganza is one you won't want to miss.
