Vermont Business Magazine On October 23, Associated Builders and Contractors of New Hampshire and Vermont (ABC NH/VT) recognized construction companies with Excellence and Merit Awards for outstanding work on commercial projects completed throughout New England.
The Excellence in Construction (EiC) Awards are the construction industry’s premier competition, honoring contractors for world-class, safe, and innovative projects that exemplify the highest standards in construction.
“For more than 40 years, these awards have showcased the incredible talent and dedication of our member companies,” said Josh Reap, president and CEO of ABC NH/VT. “The projects honored this year demonstrate how innovation, safety, and craftsmanship come together to shape the future of construction in our region.”
The EiC Awards honor every member of the construction team, including the contractor, owner, architect, and engineer. Projects are judged by a panel of industry experts on complexity, attractiveness, unique challenges overcome, completion time, workmanship, innovation, safety, and cost.
The Excellence in Construction Awards, hosted by ABC NH/VT, brought together builders, contractors, partners, and community leaders from across New Hampshire and Vermont to celebrate the very best in merit shop construction. Governor Kelly Ayotte joined as a special guest, offering remarks that highlighted the importance of workforce development, skilled trades, and the incredible impact the construction industry has on the state’s economy and communities.
The highly prized Chairman’s Award recognizes one project that stands out from the rest. The winning job embodies the industry’s idealized qualities of teamwork, quality, professionalism, and commitment to safety for the betterment of the community. The 2025 Chairman’s Award was presented to North Branch Construction for their outstanding work on the SIG SAUER Newington Range & Range Tube Expansion.
